After three years of running Grovedale’s successful Sandstone Café, owner Simon Parrott has expanded into a restaurant serving traditional Italian-style pizza, pasta and meals. Simon says a transformation of the nearby former fruit shop into Perrettis resulted in a new and exciting restaurant serving quality dine-in and takeaway meals for locals to enjoy in the evenings. We want people to come in and eat without having to go to Waurn Ponds or Belmont where the parking is really bad and it’s hard to get pizza on those busy nights. 
 Perrettis’ pizzas are thin crust bases topped with premium quality, well-balanced flavours. You can taste every ingredient. It’s not like you just get a mouthful of shaved ham and that’s all you taste. Every pizza’s individual. The 13-inch pizzas cost between $14 and $19, with flavours including grilled prawns with basil and garlic, slow-cooked Moroccan lamb with harissa, and ‘Mr Perrettis Aussie Cousin” – a combination of Aussie and Hawaiian pizzas with ham, pineapple, chicken and barbeque sauce. Other beautiful Italian meals available include meatballs with tomato sauce, braised meat ragout with pappardelle pasta and “awesome” spaghetti marinara. Perrettis also serves delicious dessert pizzas including sticky date, nutella and banana and lemon curd, plus tiramisu and gelati.  Simon encourages locals to try the Perrettis experience.“It’s really amazing sitting in the restaurant, eating the food and smelling the flavours coming through the open kitchen.
